Now that is a great guitar name, Lazy Dog.

That is looking great Andy. You and Hesh should have a friendly race sometime cause both of you guys are really really fast at building as a hobby.

Oh, and what are you using for side supports? I see a faint line and it looks like something clear is being used.

Please let us know.

Rod - The side supports are bias tape....1st time. Boy do I need to iron
better.

Peter, it very well might be. I got this set from LMI about 6 months ago.
It was very inexpensive!!!!

Lazy Dog Guitars. My wife came up with that name when I was building my
first guitar.   I actually have the trademark.

We your friends all know you well enough for you not to explain, Besides Lacey would let us all know if you were out of line with a post something like this.

I regret to inform you all that your friend Hesh is no longer with us. Tonight when I came home I found him in a pool of HHG in the bathtub with his side bending blanket draped across his end graft. Honestly, I don't know how this could have happened. I'm very sad indead and will miss him dearly. The last thing he said to me was, "Well dear, I hope you like Brazilian Rosewood, cause we're going to need to clear out our bedroom soon."

PS. I have a fair amount of "Zoot" as he loved to call it that I can't bare to look at anymore, could some of you please please please send me your address' so I can just clear this stuff out.

I know that Hesh loved you all dearly, but I just couldn't take it.....er.......um.......

Take care

Love Lacey

OF COURSE YOUR KIDDING!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Gorgeous guitar Andy! I love the sap wood.

That's going to be one lucky beginner!

Is it just me or was it just last week you were posting no.13 all done?...

Al
Yep
I build in batches...sort of.
I don't have any spray equip, so I have been sending my guitars to Tony F
for finishing. One day I want to learn French Polish. So when he has a
guitar, I am on the next. Actually I was building 2 together.
The one I posted last week and an all Koa OM. Identical construction.
That one is being finished as we speak, so it will be done in about 6
weeks.

I am nuts!!!!   Just ask my wife.
I swear I will slow down. Especially after Ervins Course. I want to absorb
all what the master teaches. I am sure my guitars aren't as clean as all of
yours.

I have been massively fortunate, that once I build my 1st, I got a bunch of
commisions. (15 of them) People are absolutely nuts!!!!!   There are so
many better instruments out there. Once I "catch up" with the order list, I
WILL slow down a bit. Some of the orders have deadlines but most don't.
I told them I won't rush. It has to be built correctly.   2 are due this
Christmas. (The Cocobolo OM just posted and the all Koa getting its
finish) That is why I built the 2 of them together.    Sometimes it is easier
when you have jigs set up to do more than one at a time.

I have been extremely lucky
